"...a series of actions or operations that lead to a particular result."

Once goals are defined, it is important to design the steps that are necessary to accomplish them.   These processes, once established, help ensure that the right people and tools are in place to get the job done correctly.  Processes have three important characteristics:

  • Effective - providing the desired result

  • Efficient - at the lowest cost possible

  • Adaptable - able to meet changing needs

It is not enough to define a process once.   What worked yesterday might not work today, and what works today probably won't work tomorrow. This has never been truer than in the present changing healthcare market. Managed care and new government regulations have made the way physician business offices and billing companies used to operate obsolete. Processes must constantly be evaluated and improved in order to maintain quality.  iMed Group has no sacred cows.  Every process is regularly scrutinized by management and the employees responsible for their completion to ensure that they still effective, efficient and adaptable.
